Later life

Douglas Mawson married Francisca Adriana on 31 March 1914 at Holy Trinity Church of England. Most famous Antarctic explorer history reveals a man who gave his energy and almost his life to explore this cold continent. Mawson and Francisca had two children who where patrica who was born in 1915 and Jessica who was born in 1917. Sadly Mawson died in 1958 at the age of 76 at the britton home on 14 October.
